This easy 1-minute Feta Cheese Dip is my go-to recipe when I need something to bring to a barbecue or to make if time is short and you want something tasty as a snack.

An easy to make 1-Minute Feta Cheese Dip which goes well with meat, bread or veggies. Made with sour cream and Mediterranean herbs.

Sometimes (or most times!) lunch has to be quick! This dip is perfect for such days, in my opinion, it makes a perfect little snack with some baguette.

Most of the time I have all the ingredients at home and just throw everything together!

Often I make the dip in the same bowl I will serve the dip in and use my immersion blender instead of my Thermomix. Four items less to clean! Everyone who has a Thermomix knows what I mean. That thing is a nightmare to get really clean, and most of the times I put it in the dishwasher and then I have to wait at least one day until I can use it again.

You guys now I’m a bit lazy and so cleaning is one of my least favorite things to do!

Back to my feta dip! This dip tastes great with potatoes, veggies or meat but if you’re in a hurry just serve it with some baguette or crackers. Using sour cream instead of cream cheese makes it lighter and saves you a few calories.

I like to mix up which herbs I put in if I have some spare coriander or arugula salad I add that to the dip. It’s very versatile but the basic version tastes great, so no need to make it extra complicated when time is short.

If you’re a fan of dips you might also like my Smoked Salmon Lime Dip or my Gorgonzola Cream Cheese Spread!

  1. Love the sound of this dip! One minute!!! And it looks so creamy and delicious! What kind of feta cheese did you use? I have salted block type, I believe it’s called bulgarian feta. Do you think it’ll work?

    1. Thank you, Shinee! I used greek feta but bulgarian feta will work perfectly too. It’s often a little bit saltier than greek feta so I wouldn’t add more salt and only season with pepper. I hope you like it as much as I do :-)
