Ingredients

  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup grape juice
  • 1 orange zest
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
  • 3 allspice berries
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 1/4 cup rum

Instructions

  • In a big saucepan combine confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, grape juice, orange zest, cinnamon stick, cardamom, and allspice berries. Let it simmer at a low temperature for about 10 minutes.
  • Take off the heat and add red wine and rum. Whisk until combined.

  • Let cool down completely and chill in the fridge before serving. You can store the bottles in the fridge for up to two weeks (after that the flavor will get less).
