Air Fryer Toast is the easiest way to make toasted bread! It’s even easier than the toaster and comes out perfectly crispy and golden every time.

Place bread in a single layer in the Air Fryer basket.
Air Fry for 4-5 minutes at 390F until golden, and flip after half the cooking time is over (optional).
- No need to grease the air fryer. There’s really no risk of bread sticking to the basket, so greasing it or spraying it with oil spray isn’t necessary.
- Butter the bread. Adding a little bit of butter adds flavor and gives the toast that delicious golden-brown color. You can use butter or vegan butter. I recommend only buttering on one side and not flipping the bread.
- Air fry in a single layer. While the bread slices can overlap slightly, you’ll get the best results if they’re placed in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Flip halfway through. This ensures that the toast gets cooked evenly all the way around.
- Keep an eye on it. Cook less or longer depending on how toasty you like your bread. I always recommend checking it early, then adding time as needed so it’s toasted just the way you like it!
