- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 medium bananas mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted and cooled
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl mash bananas then add melted butter and sugar. Whisk until combined.
Add eggs, vanilla extract, and buttermilk.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.
Bake for 20 - 25 minutes, until a toothpick, inserted into the center, comes out with only a few moist crumbs attached.
