For the filling
- 4-5 peaches pitted, peeled (optional), and cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 1-2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the topping
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup quick oats or old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter cut into cubes and softened
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds or crushed walnuts (optional)
Grease the baking dish and preheat your Air Fryer to 350 degrees F.
In a bowl, toss the peach slices with the brown sugar, corn starch, and vanilla extract. Spoon mixture into the prepared baking dish.
To make the topping, combine flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Using your hands or a pastry cutter, work in the butter until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle the topping over the peaches. Top with almonds.
Air Fry for 20 minutes or until the topping is golden and crisp.
Remove from the Air Fryer and let sit for 5 minutes before serving with ice cream.
- If you want you can peel the peaches, some people don't like the texture of the peel. Check out my Peach Cobbler recipe for the easiest way to peel peaches
- You can use quick oats or old-fashioned rolled oats. Quick oats cook faster and add a more delicate texture. If you want a heartier texture, use old-fashioned oats
- For the best taste and texture use ripe peaches for this recipe. They are sweeter and easier to slice
- If your peaches are super-ripe or very juicy increase the amount of corn starch by 1 or 2 Tablespoons
- Don't forget to grease your baking dish with oil or butter
- Preheat your Air Fryer for a few minutes so the crisp cooks evenly
- Choose a baking dish depending on the size of your Air Fryer basket, you want the air to be able to circulate around the dish. If you have a smaller Air Fryer you might have to cook the recipe in batches or half the recipe
- To make this recipe gluten-free use gluten-free 1 to 1 all-purpose flour and make sure that the oats are certified gluten-free
- You can use canned or frozen peaches (check out my tips in the post)
- Leftovers: Leftovers keep up to 4 days in an airtight container stored in the fridge.
- Freezing: You can either freeze this Air Fryer Peach Crisp baked or unbaked (more info in the post).
