This Orange Cranberry Moscow Mule is the perfect holiday drink! A festive spin on a traditional cocktail made with cranberry juice, fresh oranges, and lime.

Only a few more days until Christmas! After baking Nutella Cookies, Vanillekipferl, and making another batch of my cute Gingerbread Christmas Brownies all weekend it’s time for some festive cocktails to get into the holiday spirit. It’s raining instead of snowing and I don’t feel really Christmassy so this Cranberry Orange Moscow Mule needs to come to the rescue.

While this festive cocktail is perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas you don’t need a big occasion to enjoy it! It’s so easy to make and tastes like the Holidays in a glass. Perfect for cozy evenings!

This Cranberry Moscow Mule highlights seasonal produce and is festive and refreshing. It not only tastes delicious but also looks pretty and makes a great signature cocktail for your next party!

I love the color so much I had to use normal glasses instead of copper mugs to show off the beautiful bright color of this Moscow Mule! The color of the cranberry juice together with the oranges makes me feel festive instantly!

Traditionally, Moscow Mule is made with vodka, ginger beer, and lime. But for this festive version, I added cranberry juice and freshly squeezed orange juice which makes my favorite cocktail even more fabulous.

Decorate it with a simple orange zest and cranberry skewer and you have a drink your guest will love (and you’ll love it too because it’s so simple to make and there’s no need for a cocktail shaker or other fancy bar equipment!).

To make this Orange Cranberry Moscow Mule you just need to mix everything in a pitcher, fill your favorite glasses with ice cubes and pour this deliciousness into the prepared glasses. Garnish with orange slices and a cranberry orange zest skewer and you’re done.

You can easily double or triple this recipe if you have many guests! And if you want your cocktail a little more boozy feel free to add some more vodka. My hubby and I like ours slightly on the sweeter side so we can enjoy more than one without having a headache on the next day!

This recipe is delicious! It looked so good even my mom, who doesn’t drink, was inclined to try it!
I add a bit more vodka than the recipe calls for, because it doesn’t seem like quite enough once you add all the other ingredients. I also used 100% cranberry juice which makes it quite tart.

Super delicious and will probably be a staple in our house around the holidays!

I love the Moscow mule glasses but I agree with you – it wouldn’t be right using them here :). The colors are amazing! And I like the garnish – very pretty! :)
