This dip is super delicious and so easy to make! You won’t believe that something that’s so tasty takes only two minutes to make and a few ingredients which everyone loves!

And let’s be honest sometimes the easiest things are the best. One of my favorite things to have for dinner is a rustic loaf of bread, some vegetables like sweet cherry tomatoes and cucumber, and a few tasty homemade spreads like this smoked salmon spread and my Gorgonzola Cream Cheese Spread.

Sometimes I swap the Gorgonzola Spread for my Easy 1-Minute Feta Cheese Dip depending on which kind of cheese I have in the fridge.

To be honest, my husband’s uncle was the first who made this easy smoked salmon dip and we are eternally grateful!

He loves to cook and every time there is a big birthday or event in his family we will gather in his daughter’s kitchen and make all kinds of appetizers for the party. He was also in charge of the midnight snack at our wedding and we had the most decadent snack buffet.

At one of these kitchen gatherings, he put me in charge of making an easy dip. To put that in context, you have to know most people in our families think I can’t cook and my husband Peter is the only one who knows how to handle a knife. It’s almost funny, every time I bake or cook something, people assume Peter made it. So I was in charge of the easy dip and it really was easy!

After the first taste, we wanted to eat nothing else and I promise you, you will too! We made a few little changes over time and found our personal favorite combination of ingredients.

What I really like with this dip are my Easy Homemade Pretzel Croissants or some normal Pretzels but this smoked salmon spread tastes great with everything!

You need to try this dip ASAP! We make this easy smoked salmon dip at least once a week because we love it so much!

    1. Hi Gerri, Creme fraîche is similar to sour cream but it has a higher fat content. It is thicker, has a richer flavor, and is less tangy than sour cream. If you can’t find creme fraiche you can use the same amount of sour cream instead or just leave it out. – Julia
