How to make the perfect Air Fryer Pork Chops! This easy recipe makes tender bone-in pork chops that are perfectly cooked, juicy, and so flavorful.
We love easy Air Fryer Recipe like our Air Fryer Salmon, Air Fryer Chicken Breast and our reader favorite, Air Fryer Chicken Wings so this recipe is a winner because it is as easy to make!
Pork Chops made in the Air Fryer make a great quick weeknight dinner that is easy, simple, and flavorful! This recipe has no breading and uses bone-in pork chops which cook faster, more even and stay juicier.
Pork Chops are a great choice because they are leaner than other cuts, but are still juicy and have lots of flavor if you use the right cut and cook them the right way!

Why This Recipe Works
The Air Fried Pork Chop recipe that I’m sharing today makes the best pork chops because I show you which cuts works best and how long to cook them so they are just how you like them. Making them in the Air Fryer means using less oil and less mess compared to pan-frying, and juicier meat that is done faster compared to baked pork chops.

How long to cook pork chops in Air Fryer
Depending on the thickness of the bone-in pork chops, cook them for about 9–12 minutes for medium (160F internal temperature) or 11–15 minutes (170F internal temperature) for well done. I recommend using an Instant Read Thermometer!
Pork Chop Cuts
I prefer to use 1/2-inch bone-in pork center-loin chops for this recipe! Thicker pork chops are a bit juicier but take longer to cook. The pork chops in the photos are center-loin chops that were about 1/2-inch thick and took 9 minutes to cook.
Pork center-loin chops (or Pork Top-Loin Chops): These are the most tender pork chops, they have both loin and tenderloin sections. They have a T-shaped bone in them that protects the meat from overcooking and conducts heat within the meat for an even sear.
Pork loin chops (or Pork End-Loin Chops): Cut from the upper loin, these pork chops are basically the same as the center-loin above, but with little to no tenderloin section.
Pork rib chops: This bone-in cut from the lower loin is also known as pork rib cut chops, rib pork chops, or pork chop end cut. They are not as tender as the pork center-loin chops but are still a great choice and usually less expensive.
Boneless Chop: This is the loin section of the loin chop cut away from the bone. Because they have no bone they tend to overcook and are the least tender. Because they lack fat they are typically less flavorful. They are also known as Bone-less Pork top loin chops.
Serve it with
- Oven Roasted Potatoes
- German Cucumber Salad
- Roasted Asparagus
- Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes
- Pomegranate Pear Salad
Air Fryers I use and recommend:
Philips AirFryer: This is a smaller Air Fryer that is perfect for 2 persons. I like that you can shake the basket easily and the simplicity of it.
Ninja Foodi Grill: It’s an indoor grill that can also air fry, bake, dehydrate, and roast. I love the big air fry basket that is shallow and how easy it is to use.

- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer to 400 F.
- Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Spray them with olive oil spray.
- Place Pork Chops in a single layer in the Air Fryer basket and cook until golden brown and cooked to desired doneness, about 9-12 minutes for medium (160F internal temperature) or 11-15 minutes (170F internal temperature) for well done depending on thickness. Flip them once.
I make these chops all the time. My seasonings are a bit more aggressive, like using montreal steak seasoning, white pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and roasted onion and garlic blend. I cook mine from frozen, mainly because I forget to take out of the freezer in time to thaw. I just add a couple of extra minutes to the cooking time. This is my favorite protein in air fryer!!
